Elysium 1.3.0 introduces Customer Intake — a new way for freelancers, agencies, and anyone working with clients to let those clients submit tasks directly into their Elysium schedule. No more digging through email threads or Slack DMs to turn a request into a task. The customer fills out a form, you get a task.

What is Customer Intake?

Customer Intake gives each of your projects a shareable URL. When you send that link to a customer, they land on a simple page where they can submit tasks to you — a title, a short message, and optionally an image. The task appears in your Elysium schedule on the next sync, grouped under the project and ready to work on.

A few things that make it genuinely useful:

Password protection. Every intake project can have a password you set, so the link only works for people you've given the password to. Or leave it open if you just want a public submission form.

Project options (subprojects). If a single customer has multiple workstreams — different websites, different departments, different campaigns — you can define options they pick from when submitting. Each option lives in its own odyssey in your app, so tasks stay cleanly grouped.

Image attachments. Customers can attach screenshots or references to their submissions. They show up inline in the intake portal so you have context before you even open the task.

Personal scheduling, private to you. When you create a project, you set the work days and hours you want to dedicate to it. Those settings stay private — customers never see them — and Elysium's auto-scheduler uses them to place customer-submitted tasks within your preferred window automatically.

Native app management. You can create, edit, and manage intake projects directly from inside Elysium on macOS — no need to hop over to the website. There's a new tray icon in the top toolbar that opens the Customer Intake panel, and everything from passwords to project options to the share link lives there.

How it works end to end

  1. In Elysium, tap the tray icon in the top toolbar and hit New Project.
  2. Give it a name, description, optional password, and your preferred work hours.
  3. Copy the share link and send it to your customer.
  4. Your customer fills out the form. Tasks arrive in your schedule within minutes.
  5. From your side, tasks look and behave like any other Elysium task — prioritize them, reschedule them, mark them done.

The whole flow is built on top of Elysium's existing task model, so there's nothing new to learn on the scheduling side.

Who it's for

  • Freelancers and agencies managing ongoing work for clients — website updates, design tweaks, content revisions
  • Solo operators who want to stop being a receiving dock for Slack messages and turn them into actionable tasks
  • Anyone who wants a simple, structured way to accept incoming work without exposing their full scheduling app to the person sending it

Customer Intake is free for all Elysium tiers — you don't need to be on Pro to use it.

Also in 1.3.0

A batch of bug fixes and stability improvements throughout the app, including some database sync fixes that make background sync noticeably more reliable for users with large schedules.

Ready to try it? Download 1.3.0 (existing users will get the auto-update), open the app, and look for the tray icon in the top toolbar.
