Elysium Betas for Windows, Linux, and Android Are Here
For a while, Elysium has been a Mac and iPhone app. That changes today.
We're opening public betas for Windows, Linux, and Android — the three platforms our waitlist has asked for most. If you've been waiting to bring Elysium to the rest of your devices, you can start now.
Windows and Linux — download and go
The Windows and Linux betas are open. No waitlist, no invite — head to the download page and grab the build for your platform:
- Windows — a portable build. Unzip it and run
Elysium.exe. - Linux — a portable archive. Extract it and run the
elysiumbinary.
These are early builds, so expect a few rough edges (more on that below). But the core is all there: your schedule, OpenTime, and the local-first foundation that keeps your data yours.
Android — join the closed test
Android is rolling out a little differently. It's launching as a closed test on Google Play, so spots are limited while we ramp up.
To get in, head to the download page and request a tester spot with the Google account email you'll use. We'll add you to the test and send you a Google Play opt-in link — from there, Elysium installs and updates like any other Play Store app.
Become a beta tester
Want more than just the build? Sign up for a beta account and join the beta program. Beta testers get:
- Early access to new features, often weeks ahead of everyone else
- Free Pro — every Pro feature unlocked while you're testing
- A direct line to the developer through a private Discord channel
- A beta badge in the app and community
- A real say in what gets built next
Just pick your platforms when you sign up — Windows, Linux, and Android are all there now.
A few things to know
Betas are betas. Before you dive in:
- Features may be incomplete or change between builds.
- Your data stays local — but keep backups of anything important while we stabilize.
- When something breaks or feels off, tell us. That's the whole point.
Found a bug or have feedback? Let us know in the community — every report genuinely shapes where these builds go next.
What's next
Getting Elysium onto Windows, Linux, and Android is a big step toward the same app, everywhere, with your data always under your control. We'll be shipping updates fast and listening closely.
Thanks for testing with us. Let's build the rest of Elysium together.
