Customize Elysium to work exactly the way you want.

Account

Manage your Elysium account and subscription.

  • Account: Update your display name, profile picture, and sign-in method
  • Subscription: View and manage your subscription plan
  • Connections: Connect external services
  • Teams: Create or join teams for shared scheduling

Appearance

Customize how Elysium looks and what content is visible.

  • Theme: Light, Dark, or System (auto-switch based on your device)
  • Natural Language Input: Toggle natural language parsing for quick entry
  • Visibility: Show or hide specific schedule types (Tasks, Goals, Habits, Events, Appointments, Odysseys)
  • Detail Visibility: Customize which fields appear when viewing each schedule type
  • Backgrounds: Customize sidebar and detail pane backgrounds with colors or images

Notifications

Control when and how you receive alerts.

  • Audio Reminders: Play a sound when reminders are triggered
  • Vocal Reminders: Have reminders spoken aloud using text-to-speech
  • Voice Selection: Choose from high-quality Elysium voices or system voices
  • In-App Toast: Customize toast notifications with position, colors, size, and duration (macOS)

Timers

Configure the Pomodoro timer for focused work sessions.

  • Use Pomodoro Timer: Enable prompts for breaks after work sessions
  • Work Duration: Set the length of focus sessions (default 25 minutes)
  • Break Duration: Set the length of breaks (default 5 minutes)
  • Toast Notifications: Customize the appearance of timer notifications

Scheduling

Configure time preferences and auto-scheduling behavior.

  • Time Zone: Auto-detect or manually set your time zone
  • Wake & Bed Time: Define your available hours for auto-scheduling
  • 24-Hour Format: Toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour time display
  • Smart Duration Estimates: Automatically estimate durations based on keywords
  • Default Duration: Fallback duration for new schedule items
  • Schedule on Weekends: Allow auto-scheduling on weekends
  • Unavailable Blocks: Define recurring time blocks when you're not available

Calendar

Configure calendar views and sync with Apple Calendar.

  • Default Dashboard: Choose Card view or Calendar view as your default
  • Default Calendar View: Day, Week, Month, or Year view
  • Timeline View: Configure the desktop timeline bar (macOS, Basic/Pro)
  • Calendar Sync: Export to and import from Apple Calendar
  • Two-Way Sync: Keep Elysium and Apple Calendar in sync
  • Holidays: Display national and religious holidays from 25+ countries

Elysium AI

AI-powered features to help you schedule smarter.

  • Coming Soon: AI-powered scheduling assistance and smart suggestions are in development

OpenTime

Export your data in the portable, human-readable OpenTime format.

  • Enable Sync: Turn on OpenTime file syncing for backup and portability
  • File Location: Save to Documents, iCloud, or a custom folder
  • Sync Mode: Choose how changes are synced between Elysium and your .ot files
  • Export Options: Select which schedule types to include (Goals, Tasks, Habits, Events, etc.)
  • Notes as Markdown: Export notes as .md files for editing in any text editor or Obsidian
  • Auto-Import: Automatically import changes when .ot files are modified externally

Plugins & Recipes

Extend Elysium with plugins and share workflows with recipes.

  • Plugins: Browse and install community plugins to add new features
  • Recipes: Import, create, and share workflow templates
  • Community Browser: Discover plugins and recipes shared by other users
